Physiotherapy can help with a wide range of injuries and conditions including back and neck pain, repetitive strain injuries, joint pain and arthritis, muscle injuries, post surgery rehabilitation, and sports injuries. At The Sloane Hospital we have physiotherapists who specialise in women’s health, acupuncture, and sports injuries.
Your first visit will involve an assessment of your condition so that a treatment programme can be specifically developed for you. We offer a wide range of therapies that are often used in combination in a treatment programme.
All our physiotherapists work closely as part of our integrated multi-disciplinary teams within our hospitals so that, if necessary, you can benefit from fast referrals and access to the latest imaging technologies to help accurately diagnose and aid treatment pathway decisions. We provide on-site access to diagnostic imaging services which may include ultrasound, x-ray and MRI scans.

Our physiotherapy department has four private treatment rooms and includes a gym.
Our physiotherapists will work with you to provide expert advice and develop an exercise programme which meets your specific needs. Exercise forms an important part of physiotherapy. The aim is to increase mobility, muscle strength, and general fitness, build core stability, and reduce symptoms. Services include personal training, customised rehabilitation.
If we cannot help you with physiotherapy, we can quickly refer you to our Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons who can deal with keyhole joint surgery, repair of ligament injuries, treatment of fractures and repair of tendon and nerve injuries.
Physiotherapy can help you recover following injury, surgery or illness. At Circle Health Group you will receive first-class treatment at an affordable price. You can make an appointment directly with a physiotherapist or you can ask your GP to refer you if you prefer.
Physiotherapy may be covered by your medical insurance. You will need to check your cover with your insurer first and you may need a GP referral. Alternatively, you can pay for your treatment by cash, debit or credit card.
Your initial appointment will involve a 45 minute assessment of your condition so that a treatment programme can be specifically developed with you. Further sessions will consist of 30 minute appointments. Fees for a 45 minute assessment start from £74, with follow up appointments starting from £64.

Rebecca previously worked at Guy & St Thomas as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist for seven years. Currently she is Physiotherapy Manager at The Sloane Hospital. She specialises in musculoskeletal, hydrotherapy and orthopaedics. Rebecca has completed musculoskeletal triage master module. She has an active clinical role between treating inpatients and outpatients. Also she has experience and interest in the treatment of pelvic girdle pain in obstetrics. Rebecca is an APPI trained Pilates Instructor and incorporates this within her physiotherapy treatment. Alongside electrotherapy, kinesotaping, manual and exercise therapy.
Pat joined The Sloane Hospital in 1999. She has a special interest in inpatients, orthopaedics and general rehabilitation.
Pat is the Inpatient Physio Lead. She assists in the rehabilitation of medical patients and post orthopaedic surgery. Pat is a qualified Yoga Teacher she completed her yoga teacher training through the British Wheel of Yoga. Pat runs Arthritis UK recognised Yoga for Healthy Lower Back course. This incorporates yoga into the rehabilitation of patients with chronic lower back pain.
Alison has over 10 year’s musculoskeletal experience. She previously worked at Lewisham Hospital and joined The Sloane Hospital. Alison treats patients using a variety of treatment techniques including myofascial release, manual therapy, electrotherapy and rehabilitation exercise programs. Alison has completed her APPI Pilates training and leads the 3D standing Pilates class.
Hannah previously worked as a senior physiotherapist with Croydon University Hospital and First Community Health & Care at East Surrey Hospital. She specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. Hannah work works across outpatients and inpatients at The Sloane Hospital. Hannah uses a variety of treatment options such as manual therapy, kinesotaping, sport rehabilitation and exercise therapy. Hannah has a keen interest in shoulder rehabilitation, the promotion of general health, fitness and well-being.
Jake previously worked at East Kent NHS trust as a Rheumatology Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and part time at The Chaucer Hospital. Currently Jake works as a Senior Physiotherapist at the Royal Marsden Hospital and joined The Sloane Hospital team part time. He specialises in musculoskeletal, sports injuries and rheumatology. Jake uses a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, acupuncture, kinesotaping and exercise therapy.
Petra has specialised in Hand therapy from 2000 and has an MSK background. With numerous specialist hand therapy course from the British association of Hand Therapist under her belt. Petra previously worked at an acute NHS trust in outer London for almost 17 years and recently joined The Sloane Hospital team on a part time basis. Petra uses a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, exercises therapy, splinting and kineso-taping. Sha an affinity for the treatment of musicians.
Clinical Specialist-Hand therapy
Yewande has a BSc in Anatomical Sciences with a year in Industry; a MSc (pre-reg) in Physiotherapy and a Post graduate Diploma in Hand Therapy. As a clinical specialist in hand therapy her clinical expertise are in the assessment and treatment of conditions resulting from trauma or acquired deformities in the hand and wrist such as repetitive stress injuries; fractures; dislocations; joint instabilities and inflammatory and degenerative arthritis. She has clinical skills in the fabrication of thermoplastic splinting, compressive therapy, desensitisation, sensory re-education, wound and scar management and exercise prescription. Yewande believes in the importance of empowering patients with the knowledge and understanding of their condition to maximise their self-management and recovery of their condition.
Jason is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong background in private care and previously worked at an NHS trauma and orthopaedic hospital. Jason has a passion for exercise therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy, orthopaedics and strength and conditioning. Jason is dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualised care to help patients achieve their optimal physical well-being. He holds a sports science degree, which has equipped him with a deep understanding of biomechanics and exercise physiology, enabling him to develop effective strength and conditioning programs. With a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements, Jason strives to provide compassionate, patient-centred care that yields positive outcomes and fosters long-term well-being.
