At The Princess Margaret Hospital we have access to modern equipment and private facilities for patients in Windsor, Maidenhead and Ascot.

Patients are accommodated in comfortably appointed single private rooms with ensuite facilities, television, and nurse call system.

The hospital boasts 78 beds with free parking at our large rear car park available to all patients and visitors.

Visitors are welcome from 12pm to 6pm and parents are encouraged to stay with children.

Patients are offered a range of delicious and tempting meals and snacks. Individual dietary requirements can be met with a few days notice, and guests are welcome to dine with patients in their rooms.

  • Paediatric department with Consultant Paediatricians available for outpatient appointments and where appropriate onward referral
  • Oncology suite; a dedicated unit staffed by specialist nurses delivering a wide range of chemotherapy treatments and regimes to patients under the care of Consultant Oncologists

  • Pharmacy providing dispensing facilities to both inpatients and outpatients
  • Physiotherapy department staffed by Chartered, State Registered Physiotherapists

How to get to us and find the hospital

The Princess Margaret Hospital is located 20 miles to the west of London, and eight miles from Heathrow Airport. It is situated on the A308 on the edge of Windsor Great Park and within sight of Windsor Castle. It is easily accessible from the M4 M25 and M3 motorways.

Find us on Google Maps

From the M4 exit at junction 6, where you should take the A332 going south. At the first roundabout, take the A308 (to Staines) and the hospital can be found on the left-hand side after passing the two further roundabouts.

From the M25, exit at junction 13 and take the A308 following signs for Windsor. Pass Runnymede and the River Thames on your right and after about 1 mile cross the Long Walk (leading to Windsor Castle). At the next roundabout, take the second exit and the hospital can be found 250 yards on the right-hand side.

Car parking

There is parking on site at the hospital.

From London Waterloo to Windsor Eton Riverside station. Trains run every half hour, terminating at Windsor. The hospital is a five-minute taxi ride or 20-minute walk from the station.

From London Paddington to Windsor Central station, changing at Slough. Trains run every half hour. The hospital is a five-minute taxi ride or 20-minute walk from the station.
