We also have a resident medical officer (RMO) who is available 24 hours a day to ensure that patients are safe and cared for at all times. Should your care needs change following surgery or treatment, we may need to transfer you to another hospital. This will either be to an NHS or another Circle hospital. Transfers of care only take place when absolutely necessary.
Please note that the Chiltern Hospital offers a consultation only service for children and young people. The Chiltern Hospital cannot offer any surgical or interventional procedures to those aged under 16.
If your child is seeing a consultant who also has clinics at the Shelburne Hospital, you will not be able to make an appointment at the Shelburne as they do not offer any services for children and young people and cannot see or treat anyone under the age of 18
