We understand that your private healthcare experience is not just about your physical health, but also about your mental health. You might be feeling nervous about your visit and upcoming treatment. We are here to answer your questions, provide valuable insight and eliminate some of your nerves in a safe and comfortable environment.

After you have confirmed that you wish to go ahead with an operation or treatment, you will receive a confirmation letter including key information about your day visit. For example, whether or not you need to fast beforehand (if you are undergoing surgery) or if you need to bring your current medication should bring any scans or test results with you. Please bring this confirmation letter with you on the day.

If you are undergoing a procedure or treatment on the day, our team will ensure that you can recover in a safe and comfortable environment. Your Consultant and nurses will monitor you closely and decide when you are ready to leave.
No private healthcare journey is the same as the next, so your next steps depend on your specific needs.
Your specialist team will advise you about next steps to take after your appointment, including follow-up appointments and aftercare.
If you undergo a minor procedure, we advise that you plan for someone to pick you up from our hospital and take you home.
We are happy to arrange a taxi for you if needed.

If you are booked in for surgery, we might ask you to attend an appointment before your surgery. This is a pre-admission assessment to perform any necessary tests before your procedure and to monitor your overall health.
If you have any questions, concerns or requirements at this stage, please raise them with your nurse during your pre-admission appointment.
Any dietary requirements you share will be passed on to our experienced catering team prior to your admission.
Don’t forget to bring the following items to your pre-admission appointment:
At your pre-admission appointment, your nurse will explain your procedure in depth to ensure you understand it. They will also discuss any specific requirements you might have when returning home, so that you can prepare for life after surgery.
Before your visit, our hospital will send you a pre-admission pack containing all the information you need regarding your stay and treatment plan.
Please bring the following items to your overnight visit:
If you are having hip or knee surgery, please pack loose shorts, a loose skirt, or loose tracksuit bottoms. Comfortable clothing and supportive shoes are ideal for post-operative physiotherapy, if needed.
Please also bring any medication you take regularly (including herbal medicines).
Remove any nail polish or acrylic nails and any nail or hair extensions prior to your stay.
We recommend that you do not bring valuables or large amounts of money with you. However, these items can be stored in a safe and lockable location if required. You may also keep your wedding band on during your stay, but it will be covered with tape.
Our spacious and comfortable bedrooms are fitted for your comfort and care.
We believe that nutritious food accelerates recovery by boosting your overall health, so you can expect delicious meals prepared by our experienced catering team.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at regular mealtimes. We offer a range of choices according to your dietary requirements, including vegetarian, halal and kosher options. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements you have prior to admission.
