Established in 1982, Three Shires Hospital is a private hospital in Northampton, providing high-quality healthcare to patients across Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas. We offer a comprehensive range of private healthcare services for adults aged 18 and over, welcoming self-pay, privately insured and NHS patients. With access to more than 33 medical specialities, our services include outpatient consultations, diagnostic investigations, surgical procedures and rehabilitation.

Our experienced team of consultant specialists provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment across a wide range of conditions, including orthopaedics, women's health, men's health, general surgery, cardiology, oncology and more.

Alongside our specialist treatments, we offer a range of preventative and general health services, including our Private GP service, Heart Health Check and Prostate Health Check packages. These services provide patients with access to private consultations, health assessments and diagnostic investigations to help them take a proactive approach to their health.

We continually invest in the latest medical technology to support the delivery of specialist care. This includes the VELYS™ Robotic-Assisted Solution for knee replacement surgery, bringing advanced robotic-assisted technology to orthopaedic procedures at Three Shires Hospital. Our diagnostic facilities include MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-ray and fluoroscopy, alongside dedicated physiotherapy and rehabilitation services. The hospital also has three operating theatres, an accredited endoscopy suite and the Larkin Oncology Unit, recognised through the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark.

Three Shires Hospital is situated within the grounds of St Andrews Hospital

The Hospital is easily accessible from the M1 and several main A-roads. Parking is free and runs on an ANPR system.

Northampton train station is located approximately 10-15 minutes away by taxi
