Whether it's a sports injury, rehabilitation after an operation or general aches and pains in your joints, physiotherapy can help with a wide range of conditions.
At the Beaumont Hospital we specialise in a wide range of therapies that can be used in conjunction with a treatment programme, including women’s health, acupuncture and Pilates.
Beaumont Hospital is located in Bolton in Greater Manchester. People visit us from across Lancashire and the North West, from local areas including Wigan, Bury, Chorley, Leigh, Worsley and Burnley. We also welcome patients from across the UK as well as abroad. When you go private, you can choose which hospital and which consultant are the best fit for you.
On your first visit to our physiotherapy department, one of our registered physiotherapists will assess your condition and develop a bespoke treatment package specifically for you.
Our physiotherapists work closely as part of our integrated multi-disciplinary teams, meaning that if necessary, you can benefit from fast referrals and access to diagnostic technologies right away to aid treatment decisions.
If we cannot help you with physiotherapy, we can quickly refer you to our Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons who can deal with keyhole joint surgery, repair of ligament injuries, treatment of fractures and repair of tendon and nerve injuries.
At the Beaumont Hospital, we offer the following services:
Our physiotherapists will work with you to provide expert advice and develop an exercise programme which meets your specific needs. Exercise forms an important part of physiotherapy. The aim is to increase mobility, muscle strength, and general fitness, build core stability, and reduce symptoms within a customised rehabilitation programme.
