He completed a specialist Hand Fellowship at the world renowned   Pulvertaft Hand Surgery unit, Derby, as part of his interests. He was appointed as Full time NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon in 2004 and continues this role to date, at Royal Preston Hospital, Preston.
