Private GP Service in Darlington

At Woodlands Hospital, we offer a dedicated private GP service.

Private GP Services should not be used in place of Emergency Services. In the event of an emergency in the UK, please call 111 or 999.

Please call 111 or 999 if you or the patient in question are experiencing:

  • Severe or Sudden Breathing Difficulties
  • Chest Pain or Symptoms of 'Heart Attack'
  • Symptoms of Stroke
  • Heavy Bleeding

Our private GP service at Woodlands offers the chance to take more control over your health. Our GP, Dr Paul Mulcrone holds private, 30 minute clinics at our hospital every Tuesday, giving you more time to discuss, and increasing the convenience of your appointment time.

As well as longer appointment times, Dr Mulcrone can also offer:

  • Referrals for diagnostics and other specialist surgeons
  • Medication reviews
  • Private prescriptions

The price of an initial, 30 minute appointment with Dr Mulcrone is £100.

Additional costs will incur for any referrals and/or additional treatments.
