Mr Wood can see and consult on children of all ages. Whilst most young children can be managed without surgery, when it is required, he undertakes this at The Princess Margaret Hospital for children aged 3 and above.
Mr Wood remains actively involved in teaching and training and previously he was the Tutor for ENT in his department. He is the founder and previously a faculty member of the Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Course for trainee surgeons in Bristol. He has also previously been a faculty member of the ENT Laser Surgery course and the Reading Part 3 FRCS course. He regularly lectures to GPs and other allied healthcare professionals on all aspects of ENT practice.
