Personal Profile
Mr Papanastasiou was appointed Consultant Plastic Surgeon at East and North Herts NHS Trust in October 2004. He has been working in NHS hospitals for over 17 years and spent over two years on hand fellowships at St Andrew's Centre, Chelmsford and the Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. His NHS practice covers general plastic surgery (especially skin cancer and breast surgery) and hand surgery (elective and trauma).
He runs NHS clinics at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage. In the private sector he welcomes patients with skin cancers, various benign skin lesions and a wide variety of hand conditions. In addition he carried out a wide range of asethetic procedures including breast augmentation, breast reduction and mastopexy (uplift), abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), localised liposuction and facial plastic surgery (facelifts, eyelid surgery and prominent ear correction).
