Personal Profile

I am originally from South Yorkshire and trained in London where I completed my basic surgical training before returning to complete my higher orthopaedic surgical training in the North West. I completed a fellowship at Wrightington Hospital in complex joint reconstruction before proceeding to the Cavendish Arthroplasty Fellowship in Sheffield. This prestigious fellowship gave outstanding experience of complex reconstruction of the hip and knee for severe bone loss, from infection or multiple previous hip and knee replacements.

I have a keen academic background, with publication of numerous papers in European and American journals. I have presented papers nationally and internationally, receiving prizes for my work.

I have two young boys that take up majority of my spare time, but when able, I enjoy cooking, golf and cycling.
