About Miss Reena Vaja

Personal Profile

Reena is an experienced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist who qualified in 2006 from the University of Salford. Since qualifying, she has developed a strong clinical focus in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has worked across both NHS and private healthcare settings for over 18 years.

Throughout her career, Reena has specialised in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients recover from injury, manage pain, and improve their physical function. Her experience allows her to support patients at different stages of recovery, from acute injuries through to long-term rehabilitation.

Reena’s clinical work focuses on helping patients with conditions affecting muscles, joints, ligaments, and soft tissues. She is passionate about rehabilitation and supporting patients to regain movement, strength, and confidence in their bodies.

She has also gained valuable experience working alongside sports teams, giving her additional insight into the demands of physical activity and sports-related injuries. This experience supports her ability to treat both active individuals and those recovering from everyday musculoskeletal conditions.

Reena has continued to develop her clinical skills through further training and education. She has completed Level 3 Pilates training with the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute), which supports her use of exercise-based rehabilitation in patient care.

In addition to Pilates training, she has completed a variety of musculoskeletal courses to enhance her clinical knowledge and ensure she remains up to date with current physiotherapy practices and evidence-based treatment approaches.

Reena is currently the Clinical Service Manager for Physiotherapy at Droitwich Spa Hospital. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the physiotherapy service, supporting clinical standards, and ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered across the department.

Despite her leadership responsibilities, Reena continues to maintain an active clinical caseload. She remains committed to hands-on patient care, which is the aspect of physiotherapy she has been passionate about since the beginning of her career.

Reena is dedicated to providing personalised, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. She focuses on clear communication, education, and guided rehabilitation to help patients feel confident throughout their recovery journey.

Her approach is centred on helping patients return to the activities they enjoy, whether that is sport, work, or everyday movement, by improving strength, mobility, and long-term physical wellbeing.

Outside of work, Reena enjoys staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She plays hockey, swims regularly, and enjoys travelling in her spare time.
