Her passion lies in the improvement of quality of life for the motivated and enthusiastic women of today. She has continuously progressed through challenges and proven her strength and resilience both as a professional gynaecological surgeon and as a person among the successful and high achieving women of the contemporary world.
Her NHS practice in Manchester as a Senior Consultant has clinical, teaching and management aspects to it. She runs a special clinic for hypertensive disorders in pregnancy at North Manchester General Hospital. In addition to office gynaecology clinics for procedures such as endometrial ablation, hysteroscopy both under local anaesthetic as well as day case procedures under general anaesthetic are routinely performed both in her NHS as well as private practice.
She has several years of experience and excellent results with major procedures such as hysterectomy, prolapse repair, removal of fibroids and ovarian cysts. She is involved and committed as a trainer for undergraduates and post-graduate specialty trainees and as a recognised appraiser for consultant and clinical colleagues.
She is also a recognised and well-appreciated tutor for the Healthcare Diploma and Masters Courses of the University South Wales.
