Qualified from Oxford Medical School in 1989. Consultant hand and orthopaedic surgeon at QMC Nottingham since 2002. Fellowship trained in hand surgery in Nottingham , Derby and Sydney, Australia. My clinical practice is entirely concerned with hand, wrist and peripheral nerve disorders.
I have been a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume) since 2012 and elected member of the Council of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (2015-2019).
I am a clinical teacher and trainer in Nottingham and have lectured widely on hand surgery topics including as international guest speaker at the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Scandinavian Hand Society, World Congress of Hand Surgery and Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand.
