Mr Mohamed Shibu, is a Senior Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust, where he has trained many plastic surgeons who now hold senior positions. He is the author and co-author of numerous publications in national and international journals.

His expertise lies in reconstructive surgery, specialising in hand surgery (trauma, nerve compression, rheumatoid arthritis) and breast surgery (post-mastectomy reconstruction, congenital asymmetry).  His particular areas of interest include body contouring for patients after extreme weight loss, chest wall reconstruction following coronary artery bypass surgery, and 1 the management of problem scars.
