About Mr Kuen Chin

Personal Profile

Mr Chin is a well-regarded Consultant Plastic Surgeon. Graduating from University of Glasgow with distinction, he pursued his Plastic Surgery training in different units around the country. After achieving his certificate of completion of training in Plastic Surgery in Scotland, Mr Chin embarked on a senior fellowship in the world renowned St Thomas Hospital in London.

He was first appointed as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Ninewells Hospital in Dundee in 2020, and then joined Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. His practice covers London, Berkshire, and parts of neighbouring Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Sussex. Mr Chin is the Clinical Lead for Plastic Surgery for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. He is also the Skin Cancer Lead for Frimley Park Hospital.

Mr Chin’s extensive training has been awarded with the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast), a Master of Science Degree from University College London, and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is a member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) and BSSH (British Society for the Surgery of the Hand).

Clinical Interests

Mr Chin has a special interest in skin cancer management. He is the Skin Cancer Lead for Frimley Park Hospital, looking after the services across different specialities. Mr Chin also has a varied practice with interests in cosmetic surgery, reconstructive surgery, hand surgery and trauma surgery.
