Mr Kassam completed his specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training through the prestigious North East Thames Rotation, one of the UK's most respected training programmes. During this time, he gained experience in several internationally renowned institutions, including The Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, and University College London Hospital. These centres are recognised for excellence in complex reconstructive surgery, head and neck oncology, paediatric maxillofacial surgery, facial trauma and advanced surgical innovation, providing Mr Kassam with an exceptional breadth of experience across all aspects of the specialty.
To further develop his expertise in facial aesthetics and reconstructive surgery, Mr Kassam completed a dedicated Rhinoplasty and Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowship in Rome, Italy. This advanced international training enhanced his skills in both cosmetic and functional facial surgery, allowing him to offer patients highly specialised treatments aimed at improving facial harmony, restoring confidence and achieving natural-looking results.
Mr Kassam now practises exclusively in the private sector, offering the full range of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery services to both adult and paediatric patients. His clinical practice encompasses routine and complex oral surgery, facial and jaw conditions, salivary gland disease, facial trauma management, and the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck disorders. He has developed particular expertise in head and neck oncology, facial skin cancer surgery and reconstructive procedures, providing comprehensive care from diagnosis through to treatment and long-term follow-up.
Alongside his private practice, Mr Kassam continues to support the NHS as a Locum Oral & Maxillofacial Consultant at Worcestershire NHS Trusts. This ongoing involvement ensures he remains actively engaged in delivering specialist care within both the public and private healthcare sectors while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
A significant area of Mr Kassam’s specialist interest is the management of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders. He is recognised as one of a relatively small number of surgeons in the United Kingdom with advanced training in TMJ arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) and total TMJ replacement surgery. His expertise allows him to manage complex jaw joint disorders, chronic facial pain, joint dysfunction and degenerative conditions using both minimally invasive and advanced reconstructive techniques.
In addition to his surgical expertise, Mr Kassam is fully trained in a wide range of facial cosmetic and non-surgical aesthetic procedures. He offers advanced facial rejuvenation treatments, including facelifts, neck lifts, fat grafting for facial volume restoration, facial and neck liposuction, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), brow lifting and rhinoplasty. His approach focuses on achieving balanced, natural-looking outcomes that enhance facial appearance while preserving each patient’s individual characteristics.
Known for his professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to excellence, Mr Kassam is dedicated to providing personalised care tailored to the unique needs of every patient. By combining cutting-edge surgical techniques with a compassionate and thoughtful approach, he strives to achieve the highest standards of clinical outcomes while ensuring patients feel informed, supported and confident throughout their treatment journey.
