About Jullien Brady

Personal Profile

Mr Jullien Brady is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience in both NHS and private practice. He was appointed as a Consultant at Bedford Hospital in 2008 and is the Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Oncology (cancer) and Colposcopy, specialising in the management of women with abnormal cervical smear tests.

In 2018, Mr Brady moved his NHS practice to Luton and Dunstable Hospital. Alongside his NHS work, he sees private patients at Three Shires Hospital in Northampton, where he accepts both self-pay and insured patients.

Mr Brady is a member of the main committee of the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). He is also the Regional Lead Colposcopist and Quality Assurance Director for the East of England, reflecting his leadership in cervical screening and women’s health services.

Training and experience

Mr Brady developed a strong interest in obstetrics and gynaecology during medical school, particularly in pre-malignant cervical disease and the management of abnormal smear tests.

He completed his early training at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, where he gained experience in cancer care. His specialist registrar training took place in the North Thames region, with University College London as his base teaching hospital. He completed his training as a Senior Registrar at The Royal London Hospital.

Mr Brady focuses on providing patient-centred, evidence-based care, with a particular emphasis on early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of gynaecological conditions.
