He performs a full range of breast procedures, including lumpectomies, mastectomies, sentinel lymph node biopsies, and reconstructive surgery. He also offers cosmetic breast procedures, such as breast enlargement (augmentation), always focusing on achieving natural and balanced results.
Mr Cunnick trained at the prestigious St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He completed his surgical training in London and the South East, choosing to specialise in breast surgery early in his career. In recognition of his innovative research into breast cancer, he was awarded the Hunterian Professorship in 2004 for his work on lymphatic spread in breast cancer.
He is actively involved in improving national breast cancer care and currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee for the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) and the NHS Breast Screening Programme. He is also the National Surgical Lead for Breast Screening, helping to shape how screening and surgical care are delivered across the UK.
Mr Cunnick works in the NHS at the High Wycombe Breast Unit, where he has been the lead consultant for the multidisciplinary team (MDT) for many years, ensuring that patients receive coordinated, high-quality care from diagnosis through to treatment and follow-up.
