Mr. Ben Brooke is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Hip and Knee replacements, soft tissue knee injuries including meniscal repair and the management of sports injuries

NHS Practice

Mr Brooke was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust in 2014. He undertook his medical training at Edinburgh University, completing his basic surgical training in the North East before moving to back to Yorkshire to complete his specialist Orthopaedic training.

He undertook a fellowship in Hip and Knee surgery, gaining skills and experience in all aspects of hip and knee replacement including revision and complex hip surgery.

Interests

Originally form Huddersfield, Mr Brooke always wanted to move back to the area to provide care to his local community. As well as maintaining his own practice, he is committed to education and teaches on the Royal College of England courses as a faculty member.

Private Practice

Mr Brooke sees both insured and self-funding patients at Huddersfield Private Hospital serving Huddersfield, Halifax and the wider West Yorkshire region, consulting on a range of orthopaedic problems including Hip and knee pain, soft tissue injuries and sporting injuries. 

Specialising in enhanced recovery pathways for knee and hip replacements allows Mr Brooke's patients to enjoy their recovery from the comfort of their own home with the support of the hospital throughout their recovery period.
