Mr Garde studied medicine at Mumbai University, gaining MBBS in 1992. Mr Garde then continued his training and studied for his Masters in Trauma and Orthopaedics at the same University graduating in 1996. Mr Garde then completed his advanced training which was conducted at K.E.M Hospital in Liverpool.

In his spare time Mr Garde enjoys playing badminton and cricket.
