About Aftab Ahmed
Personal Profile
Mr Aftab Ahmed obtained his medical degree at Sheffield University Medical School. He underwent further surgical training and subsequently obtaining Membership the Royal College of Surgeons. He subsequently completed Specialist Registrar training in the field of Ear, Nose and Throat surgery in Yorkshire and obtained Fellowship in Head, Neck and Otolaryngology. Mr Ahmed then completed a one year Fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Europe and USA and is an International Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon having completed the specialist training.
He is a fulltime consultant in ENT and Facial Plastic Surgeon in Doncaster specialising in facial plastic surgery in particular nasal surgery and facial skin cancer in addition to providing general ENT service. He provides a tertiary referral service for complex nasal issues/deformities.
He trains medical students and junior doctors and is an examiner for Sheffield Medical School. He also teaches on various National courses in ENT/Facial Plastic Surgery.
In the private practice he provides a service dealing with a wide spectrum of ENT issues (surgical and non surgical) and performs a wide spectrum of facial cosmetic surgeries including scar revision, mole removal, facial skin cancer surgery, rhinoplasty, facelift, neck lift, blepharoplasty and otoplasty.
