Rotator cuff repair surgery starting from £4,755*

Your rotator cuff consists of four muscles that merge to form your rotator cuff tendon. This tendon is attached to the top of your humerus (upper arm bone) and passes through a space under your acromion (the bony part of your shoulder blade) when you lift your arm.

Repetitive activities or an injury can cause a tear in your rotator cuff tendon. If a tear is identified, your Orthopaedic Surgeon will perform rotator cuff repair surgery to reattach the torn part of your tendon to your humerus (upper arm bone).

Shoulder dislocation treatment starting from £4,228* 

Your shoulder joint is formed of a ball (the top of your humerus or upper arm bone) and a socket in your scapula (shoulder blade). A shoulder dislocation can cause your upper arm bone to become partially or completely removed from its socket.

Shoulder dislocation can often be fixed without surgery. A specialist can place your humerus back into its correct position through a technique called reduction, where your arm is gently moved around your shoulder joint to return it to the socket.

Sometimes, in order to prevent further dislocations, surgery is the best idea. This will involve stabilising your shoulder joint by repairing any damage to the structures inside your shoulder from your dislocation.

Shoulder manipulation for frozen shoulder starting from £1,860* 

Shoulder manipulation is a non-invasive procedure in which your Orthopaedic Surgeon carefully moves (manipulates) your shoulder through a range of motions. This can relieve ongoing stiffness from frozen shoulder (a condition where the lining of your shoulder joint becomes inflamed causing pain and limited movement in your shoulder).

Shoulder replacement surgery starting from £9,448*

Shoulder replacement surgery can be used to treat severe damage to the inside of your joint. Arthritis is the most common cause of this damage, though it may have resulted from an injury. The surgery involves removing the top part of your humerus (upper arm bone), which forms the ball of your shoulder joint, and replacing this with an artificial component (a prosthesis). In some cases, your Orthopaedic Surgeon might also replace the socket of your shoulder joint with a prosthesis.
