Sarum Road Hospital’s major specialties include; orthopaedics, cancer services, gynaecology, urology, ENT, general medicine, ophthalmology, and general surgery. Our inpatient services are supported by a 24-hour resident medical officer, an in-house pharmacy, a physiotherapy department, and an imaging department offering a comprehensive range of radiology scans and ultrasound services.
At Sarum Road Hospital we are undergoing an exciting transformation and refurbishment of our imaging department. From October this year, an investment of over £2.4 million will benefit from state-of-the-art equipment, with a new MRI to provide outstanding imaging services to our patients locally and throughout Hampshire. This will be a six-month project and our new imaging department will launch and open around April 2024.
We also have a resident medical officer (RMO) who is available 24 hours a day to ensure that patients are safe and care for at all times. Should your care needs change following surgery or treatment, we may need to transfer you to another hospital. This will either be to an NHS or another Circle hospital. Transfers of care only take place when absolutely necessary.
