COVID Safety Measures

We'd like to share with you the measures we've have in place to ensure you're fully informed and reassured before your procedure, as well as supported when you're back at home. We want you to be confident that we're continuing to do everything possible to keep you safe and provide the highest level of care.

Circle Health Group recognises the contribution that visiting makes to the wellbeing of patients; however, there is still a need to restrict inpatient visiting at this time.

We use NHS and government guidance and maintain best practice infection prevention and control measures for healthcare settings.

This means that upon entry to our hospitals we ask everyone to wear a medical mask (unless exempt), sanitise their hands, and confirm that they don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms and are not currently testing positive for COVID-19. Our hospitals reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not adhere to our policies.

Visiting details for inpatient and daycase settings can be found in our Guides below.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we maintain these controls across our hospitals.

You can choose to have a face-to-face appointment, but if you prefer, we also provide secure video and telephone consultations with Consultant specialists or physiotherapists, so you can talk to them from the comfort of your own home.

Our staff involved in direct patient care carry out regular Lateral Flow Testing.

Upon entry to our hospitals, we ask everyone to wear a medical face mask (unless exempt), sanitise their hands, and confirm that they don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms and are not currently testing positive for COVID-19.

Our visiting details for inpatient and daycase settings can be found in our Guides below.

Visitors to sites in England and Wales do not require a negative Lateral Flow Test. Due to devolved Government guidance, inpatient and daycase visitors in Scotland are still required to provide evidence of a negative Lateral Flow Test, taken within the previous 24 hours.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we maintain these controls across our hospitals.

We will discuss the relevant requirements for any pre-admission testing and isolation with patients to be admitted for an operation under General Anaesthetic.

Please arrive at the hospital as close to your appointment time as possible.

Please wear a medical face mask before entering, and at all times whilst in, our hospital. We can provide you with a medical face mask instead if you do not have one.

Please observe our social distancing requirements and use of our hand sanitisers.

Our visiting details for inpatient and daycase settings can be found in our Guides below.
