About Mr Zubair Saeed

Personal Profile

Mr Saeed is a highly experienced and respected Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist focus on hand and wrist surgery. He graduated with Honours from the University of Bristol in 2009 and completed his foundational surgical training in South Wales. He then undertook advanced Trauma and Orthopaedic Registrar training in Yorkshire, culminating in 2021. To further refine his expertise, he completed a prestigious Hand and Wrist Fellowship at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, working alongside renowned surgeons Mr Joe Garcia and Mr Apurv Sinha.

Through his extensive training and fellowship, Mr Saeed has gained expertise in a wide range of hand and wrist procedures, including the management of sporting injuries of the hand and wrist, Dupuytren’s contracture, hand and wrist arthritis (both primary and post-traumatic), TFCC injuries, peripheral nerve compressions including carpal tunnel syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, tendon disorders, malunion correction, and nail pathologies. He also has significant experience in treating painful lumps and swellings of the hand.

In October 2022, Mr Saeed was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Harrogate District Hospital, where he leads a busy elective and trauma service. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, using the latest surgical techniques and evidence-based practices to treat a wide range of hand and wrist disorders.

Beyond his clinical practice, Mr Saeed is actively involved in medical education, mentoring junior doctors and orthopaedic trainees. He also contributes to orthopaedic research, with several publications in peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his dedication to advancing the field.

Outside of medicine, Mr Saeed enjoys playing golf, staying active, and spending quality time with his family.
