Mr Vasanth Eswaramoorthy is a Fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in primary and revision hip and knee replacements. Within Circle Health Group, Mr Eswaramoorthy has a private practice at The Clementine Churchill Hospital, Bishops Wood Hospital, and the Syon Clinic in London.

His NHS base currently is at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals, where he manages patients with lower limb injuries, as well as elective hip and knee surgery. He is known for delivering patient-centred care and achieving excellent outcomes in hip and knee replacements.

He completed his Specialist Orthopaedic training on the South East Thames Orthopaedic Training Programme, which included rotations through Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals and King's College Hospital. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in London in 2017 and the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), leading to entry into the Specialist Register for Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2018.

He undertook a Hip Fellowship at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospitals. During his fellowship there, he gained extensive experience in primary and revision hip replacement, hip arthroscopy, and young adult hip pathology. His second complex Arthroplasty Fellowship was at St George's Hospital, London, where he continued to gain extensive experience in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement, management of infected joint replacements, and the use of custom prosthesis. He also undertook a Travelling Fellowship at University Hospital Bern, Switzerland, to gain further experience in young adult hip pathology. Mr Eswaramoorthy is passionate about continuous learning and is always seeking to expand his knowledge and stay at the forefront of advancements in orthopaedic surgery.

Prior to completing his Orthopaedic Training, Mr Eswaramoorthy pursued a Doctorate-Level Degree in Orthopaedic Research on the development of a new type of hip replacement at St George's University of London. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international meetings, contributing to advancements in Orthopaedic surgical techniques and patient care.

Appointed at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals in 2021, Mr Eswaramoorthy has since built a thriving practice in hip and knee surgery. His special clinical interest is in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements, with a focus on curating tailored treatments for each individual patient needs.
