Mr Lewis is a highly experienced Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon who provides comprehensive care across the full range of general ENT conditions. His main private practice is based at Droitwich Spa Hospital. He also works within the NHS at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, where he has been a Consultant since 2010.
He manages a wide variety of ENT conditions in both adults and children. His clinical work includes the assessment and treatment of common and complex ear, nose, and throat problems such as tonsillitis, nasal obstruction, allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, hearing loss, tinnitus, balance disorders, ear infections, and excessive ear wax. He also regularly sees patients with voice changes, hoarseness, and swallowing difficulties, ensuring they receive a thorough assessment, accurate diagnosis, and tailored treatment plan based on their individual needs.
In addition to general ENT care, Mr Lewis has extensive experience in outpatient-based diagnostic work, including endoscopic assessment of the nose, throat, and larynx. This allows for early identification of conditions and helps guide appropriate medical or surgical management where required. He is committed to delivering patient-centred care, focusing on clear communication, reassurance, and effective treatment options.
Mr Lewis studied medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School in the 1990s. He went on to complete his higher surgical training in the West Midlands, where he gained broad and in-depth experience across all areas of otolaryngology. This training provided a strong foundation in both routine and complex ENT surgery, supporting his progression to Consultant level.
He currently holds a senior leadership role as Clinical Director for ENT services across Worcestershire. In this role, he is responsible for service development, clinical governance, and improving patient pathways. He works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that ENT services are safe, efficient, and aligned with best clinical practice.
Alongside his NHS leadership responsibilities, Mr Lewis continues to provide private consultations and treatment at Droitwich Spa Hospital. Through his combined NHS and private practice, he offers patients timely access to expert ENT care, from initial consultation through to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. His approach focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care with a strong emphasis on patient experience and continuity of care.
