He completed his Trauma and Orthopaedic training with the Wales Deanery and, in 2011, earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Keele University, where his research focused on regenerative medicine techniques, including stem cell therapies for fracture healing. He went on to further refine his skills in complex knee reconstruction through fellowship training at the prestigious Exeter Knee Reconstruction Unit and Orthopaedic Sports Surgery in Cardiff, ultimately earning his Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2016.

A passionate educator, Mr Bajada serves as a Surgical Tutor with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, mentoring junior doctors and specialist trainees. He is also the Clinical Director of Clinical Audit at Hywel Dda University Health Board, where he leads quality improvement projects to enhance patient safety and care standards.
