Mr Elnikety is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon, a position to which he was appointed in November 2016 after completion of fellowship training in upper limb surgery. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma Orthopaedic Engineering at Cardiff University in 2009, Sports Medicine and Exercise Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2010, an International Trauma and Orthopaedics Diploma in 2012, a European Board Diploma in 2013, Fellowship of the Royal college of Surgeons of England in Trauma and Orthopaedics 2014 and an MD (Res) -Doctorate degree - at University College London in 2015. He is currently running a private practice at Hendon Hospital, 

Mr Elnikety specialises in the upper limb surgeries (shoulder - elbow - hand) and his areas of interest include arthroscopy, cuff tear and shoulder dislocation. He subspecialises in upper limb procedures with extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacements, and open procedures (shoulders, elbows, and hands). Besides elective patients he performs all bone fixation procedures and joint reconstruction surgeries. He also cares for sports injuries and perform various sports related operations including ligament and tendon reconstructions.

Besides his clinical activities, he is passionate about medical education, holds a postgraduate degree in medical education from University of Bedfordshire and teaches medical students and postgraduate doctors. He is active in medical research and holds a doctorate degree in biomedical engineering from UCL. Mr Elnikety has presented his studies at national and international conferences and published scientific papers in prestigious medical journals.
