Following his undergraduate studies at University of Wales College of Medicine, Mr Adamson trained in London and the South East of England to develop his obstetric and gynaecological skills.
Having worked in regional cancer and endometriosis centres Mr Adamson has cultivated a wide range of skills including US diagnostics and advanced minimal access surgery. He is a full time NHS consultant based at Worthing Hospital in the role as lead for emergency gynaecology while also supporting the cancer two week rule team. This incorporates a post menopausal bleeding clinic, general (benign) gynaecology clinic, as well as major and day case operating.
Mr Adamson provides care for a range of gynaecological presentations and concerns including pelvic and vaginal pain, ovarian cysts, fibroids, polyps, dysfunctional menstrual bleeding, prolapse, menopause management and post-menopausal bleeding
Mr Adamson is an advocate for women's health and provides a holistic and collaborative approach to care focusing on his patients' concerns and preferences. His informal, yet professional, approach ensures a comfortable environment for his patients in what can be a daunting and worrying appointment.
