Over the past 25 years she has been specialising in this field mainly in the UK but has also gained considerable experience in various parts of the world. Research interests are in hearing preservation surgery, allergic rhinitis, nasal surgery and Tinnitus. Ms Maini has published extensively in these areas and has won several prizes at major surgical meetings.
She has presented her papers nationally and internationally and has several international publications. She has qualifications from the UK, India, Australia and the USA. Ms Maini enjoys teaching and has taught medical students and post-graduate students in various roles within the UK, Australia and India. She is presently an educational and clinical supervisor for training doctors as well as being involved in national and international teaching courses. She is also a JCIE Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons since 2017.
