About Dr Sangeeta Das

Personal Profile

Dr Sangeeta Das is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist. Appointed as Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Bolton Hospital in 2008, she was the Clinical Director and currently Lead for Gynaecology at Royal Bolton Hospital. 

Sangeeta completed postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India, and pursued further training and research in the UK, and a stint as a Research Fellow at the Hewitt Centre for Reproductive Medicine at Liverpool Women's Hospital. 

She is actively involved in speciality education and training as - educational supervisor for Northwest deanery; examiner for MRCOG examination, trainer for hysteroscopy for the RCOG.
Her practice includes special interest in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy management of menstrual irregularities, fertility, prolapse and menopause.

She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, presentations at national and international conferences and continues to actively participate in research activities.
