Dr Sangeeta Das is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Beaumont Hospital in Bolton.

She is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist, and was appointed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Bolton Hospital in 2008. She has also been the 'Clinical Director' and is currently 'Lead for Gynaecology' here.

Dr Das completed post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India, and pursued further training and research in the UK. She also had a stint as a 'Research Fellow' at the Hewitt Centre for Reproductive Medicine at Liverpool Women's Hospital.

She is actively involved in speciality education and training as 'Educational Supervisor' for the Northwest deanery, 'Examiner' for the membership of 'The Royal College of Gynaecologists' examination, and a trainer in 'hysteroscopy' for them also.

Her practice includes special interest in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, management of menstrual irregularities, fertility, prolapse and menopause.

She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national and international conferences and continues to actively participate in research activities.
