Mr Ray grew up in Scotland and trained in the prestigious Edinburgh rotation.  

Mr Ray specialises in:

  • Keyhole bunion surgery
  • Minimally invasive bunion and toe surgery including second opinion and redo surgery
  • Keyhole ankle surgery
  • Keyhole ankle ligament repair

Specialist training and scope of practice. Mr Ray is double international fellowship trained in Sydney, Australia and Toronto, Canada. He won the prestigious BOFAS Gold fellowship award for his time in Sydney.

He initially worked as Consultant foot and ankle surgeon at the world renowned St George’s Hospital major trauma centre. He has moved his NHS practice to Kings College Hospital Foundation trust do develop and modernise the elective foot and ankle service at the South sites.

Mr Ray has some of the most advanced training in minimally invasive surgery amongst UK surgeons and endeavours to deliver high quality, safe, modern treatments to his patients.

Mr Ray can help you with all types of foot and ankle pain. His preference is to avoid surgery whenever possible using the most up to date personalised rehabilitation plans. When surgery is required, he has in-depth additional training and specialised skills in minimally invasive surgical and likes to treat conditions in the least invasive fashion possible to help you get back on your feet quickly.
