Mr Salha is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial/Head and Neck Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital, Kettering General Hospital and at Three Shires Hospital in Northampton.
After graduating with degrees in dentistry and medicine from Trinity College Dublin and King’s College London respectively, he went on to complete his higher surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Mr Salha continued his professional development by obtaining additional specialist skills and training in head and neck cancer surgery and reconstructive surgery in Scotland, Maryland (USA) and Shanghai (China).
Mr Salha has a special interest in head and neck cancer surgery including reconstructive surgery, skin cancer surgery, facial plastic surgery, salivary gland surgery, and facial trauma. He also sees patients for a range of skin conditions including lesions, tags, melanoma and non-melanoma however his investigation, treatment and surgery area restricted to the head and neck area only, as his specialism.
Mr Salha is a member of both the head and neck cancer multidisciplinary team, and the skin cancer multidisciplinary team at Northampton General hospital; helping to make the services as efficient, safe and effective as possible for patients.
Outside of his Consultancy work Mr Salha acts as an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He also has a young family who he likes to spend time with doing outdoor activities such as cycling, swimming and travelling.
