He is a national expert in rhinoplasty and sinus surgery. He manages complex cases and a significant part of his work is revision surgery. As well as treating his patients from Greater Manchester, Raj also receives referrals to treat patients from across the UK, Europe and further afield.
He spends a lot of his spare time teaching and training courses. He continues to publish research, write book chapters and edit specialist textbooks related to his specialist area of rhinology and skull base diseases. He plays a very active role in national societies such as the British Rhinological Society, the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery, the Royal Society of Medicine and ENT UK.
Raj is the current President of the British Rhinological Society.
He is also on the Councils of the British Society of Facial Plastic Surgery, British Skull Base Society and Royal Society of Medicine.
Raj is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
He has also completed his cosmetic surgery certification (Professional Behaviours in Aesthetic Surgery) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England
