Personal Profile

Dr Torané is a consultant neurologist who is proficient in the diagnosis and management of a wide variety of neurological conditions including; Parkinson's disease, Parkinson's plus syndromes, epilepsy with teenage onset epilepsy, older age onset epilepsy, and non-epileptic attack disorder. As well as different types of headaches, migraines, neuralgic pains, functional/dissociative neurological disorder, myasthenia gravis, general neurology, neuropathies and in the diagnosis of neuro-inflammation and multiple sclerosis.

Professional Training – Dr Torané completed his Neurology professional training from the West Midlands Deanery, England in 2017 obtaining CCT in Neurology after completing his MRCP in the UK. This is on a backdrop of having completed post-graduation in General Medicine (M.D) from the University of Bombay in 2002. His primary medical education (MBBS) is from the University of Bombay in 1998.

Current Practice – Dr Torané is practicing full time as a consultant neurologist in Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust and is the Clinical Lead for Parkinson’s disease in the Worcestershire Area. He has close links with University Hospital Birmingham where is an honorary consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He has a keen interest in Epilepsy and Functional and Dissociative Neurological Disorder as well.

Dr Torané can communicate effectively other than English in, Urdu, Hindi, Marathi and partly in Punjabi, Gujarati and Kannada languages.
