About Mr Peter Byrom

Personal Profile

Mr Peter Byrom is an Audiologist with 20 years in the NHS, including paediatric work at a children’s hospital and adult work at a regional centre working in ENT and Audio-Vestibular Consultant-led clinics.

He was the Clinical Lead for Adult Audiology patients at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust from 2011 to 2017, Clinical Lead for Tinnitus from 2012 to 2017, and Balance Lead from 2015 to 2017 at Rotherham NHS FT.

Mr Byrom has been a registered Hearing Aid Dispenser for 12 years. He undertakes regular noise-induced hearing loss claim audiometry in collaboration with ENT Consultants and the legal profession. Faculty at NIHL Symposium Manchester 2016.

He also regularly writes reports for the court. Mr Byrom undertook research as part of an MSc in Tinnitus Management, and gave results in a talk at the international Tinnitus Seminar in Berlin in 2014.
