Mr Paul Curtis is a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist with over 35 years' experience. He specialises in women's health and general fertility. 

Training and Appointment

Qualifying in 1982 from the University of Bristol, Mr Curtis then specialised in Obstetrics & Gynaecology before becoming a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Mr Curtis was a Clinical Research Fellow in Infertility at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London. His contributions to research in fertility and continued expertise in medical practice led to Mr Curtis being awarded his Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2000.

Current Practice 

Alongside his private practice, Mr Curtis currently works for the NHS at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, where he was the Clinical Director in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for a number of years. He is also a senior member of the team at Care Fertility in Woking where he performs IVF procedures including IVF, ICSI, egg donation and IUI.

Mr Curtis has special interests in laparoscopic fertility surgery, fertility investigations including hysterosalpingogram, endometriosis, miscarriage, and IVF. As well as investigations, diagnostics and medical treatment for a broad range of gynaecological and urogynaecological issues, Mr Curtis also specialises in surgical interventions should they be required including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, hysterectomy and vaginal prolapse repair. As a British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) accredited colposcopist, he offers outpatient colposcopic assessments, as well as treatments for cervical abnormalities.

Mr Curtis is highly trained and experienced in ultrasound investigation and management of early pregnancy problems such as vaginal bleeding and pain as well as endometrial polyps, fibroids and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Ultrasound scans can be carried out within his clinic should this be required.
