About Mr Mutie Raslan

Personal Profile

Mr Raslan is a Consultant Urologist with a specialist interest in minimally invasive bladder and prostate cancer surgery. He also offers a comprehensive general urology service, including management of benign prostate conditions, urinary tract infections, haematuria, peno-scrotal conditions and renal colic.

He consolidated his higher surgical training by completing a one-year fellowship in Pelvic Uro-oncology at Oxford University Hospitals. He learnt robotic bladder and prostate cancer surgery. He then was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Salford Royal Hospital in 2022. He completed his basic surgical training in the North West of England and the East of Scotland regions, before completing his urology specialist training in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Mr Raslan was the Governance Lead for Urology in his Trust; he is passionate about delivering high-quality care to his patients. He has a number of publications in peer-review journals and presentations at national and international level.
