Dr Negmeldin has been practising respiratory medicine since 2006. He completed his specialist training in respiratory medicine and intensive care in Egypt in 2013, working across a number of leading teaching/ university hospitals. He was awarded a master’s degree in respiratory medicine in 2009. Since relocating to the UK in 2018, Dr. Negmeldin has served as a Consultant at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he currently leads the Tuberculosis and Interstitial Lung Disease services at Bedford Hospital. He has held consultant roles at several high-profile NHS institutions including Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden, and Royal Preston Hospitals.
Throughout his career, he is deeply committed to training and teaching medical students, junior doctors and respiratory trainees.
While he actively participates in some research and audit activities, Dr Negmeldin contributes as a CESR evaluator for the Royal College of Physicians. He has authored multiple publications in the field as well.
He has experience in wide range of different aspects of respiratory medicine including lung cancer, lung nodules, airway obstruction (COPD and asthma), interventions, interstitial lung diseases, chest infections (bronchiectasis, pneumonia and TB), pulmonary vascular diseases and sleep-related diseases.The Manor Hospital, Church End, Biddenham, Bedford, MK40 4AW
