Montasser Mahran trained in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the East Anglia Region, he completed advanced training in laparoscopic (keyhole) gynaecological surgery in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals. He is currently a consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Bedford Hospital.
Montasser has a broad range of skills in general gynaecology, including medical and surgical management of menstrual disorders, pelvic pain and in particular Endometriosis.
Montasser aims to empower patients with adequate information so that they can make the best decision for their own particular circumstances, he is also interested in medical education, and likes organising lectures, small groups and workshops. He also published numerous articles in medical journals.
Mr Mahran is a family man and has three children, with whom he spends most of his spare time. He also enjoys swimming and tennis.
