Mr Mohamad Abdalla is a highly experienced Consultant Surgeon specialising in Oculoplastic, Orbital and Lacrimal Surgery. He has been practising as a Consultant since 2014 and has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex eyelid, orbital and tear drainage disorders in adults.

Mr Abdalla graduated from Zagazig University, Egypt, in 1998 before pursuing advanced specialist training in ophthalmology. He subsequently completed higher subspecialty training at the internationally renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, gaining extensive experience in both adult and paediatric oculoplastic and orbital surgery. He holds a Master's Degree and a PhD in Ophthalmology.

Throughout his career, Mr Abdalla has developed specialist expertise in managing a wide range of functional, reconstructive and cosmetic conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit and lacrimal system. He is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based care and works closely with his patients to develop treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and expectations.

His specialist surgical expertise includes:

In addition to his clinical work, Mr Abdalla is actively involved in teaching, training and research. He supervises medical students, ophthalmology trainees and clinical fellows and plays an important role in supporting the development of future ophthalmic surgeons. He also serves as a Regional Clinical Assessor and Educational Supervisor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
