About Ms Mishika Shah
Personal Profile
Mishika is a Senior Physiotherapist at Beaumont Hospital in Bolton.
She achieved a Bachelor's degree in 'Physiotherapy' from India before completing a Master's degree in 'Advanced Physiotherapy'. She believes that understanding your pain is the first step towards overcoming it, empowering patients with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their recovery.
Her approach combines hands-on treatment with active rehabilitation, tailoring every treatment plan to the individual.
Depending on your needs, she may incorporate functional training, soft tissue therapy, kinesiology taping, acupuncture, or shockwave therapy to help you move better and recover faster.
She takes a holistic view of rehabilitation, recognising that recovery is about more than treating an injury. Stress, sleep, nutrition, and mindset all play a vital role in healing, and she works with patients to address these factors alongside their physical rehabilitation to achieve the best possible outcomes.
