Mr Midhat Siddiqui is a senior Consultant Surgeon at the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.
His private practice based at Circle Health Group hospitals, includes The Blackheath Hospital, Chelsfield Park Hospital, The Chaucer Hospital and Fawkham Manor Hospital.
Mr Siddiqui is a gastrointestinal surgeon with extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Routine operations like gallbladder surgery, hernia, bowel, adrenal/spleen surgery and anti-reflux surgery for hiatus hernias are all performed via modern key-hole techniques. He also has an interest in bariatric surgery and offers laparoscopic gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, by-pass procedures and insertion of gastric balloons. Routine investigations of the gastrointestinal tract such as upper GI & Lower GI endoscopies are also undertaken.
To date he has undertaken more than 3,000+ advanced laparoscopic procedures and is a well recognised trainer in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
Mr Siddiqui also has an interest in paediatric surgery and routinely undertakes common paediatric procedures such as appendicectomies, circumcisions, herniotomies and orchidopexies.
