Personal Profile
Professor Michael Douglas trained in Neurology in Birmingham and London. He was appointed Consultant Neurologist at the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (Queen Elizabeth Hospital) in 2009.
He has extensive experience of all neurological conditions, including headaches, fits, faints, movement disorders (particularly Parkinson’s Disease) and has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of Multiple Sclerosis, with an active research programme on the condition.
He holds an Honorary Professorship at the University of Aston and an Honorary Senior Research Fellowship at the University of Birmingham.
