Mr Gee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the management of problems related to the pelvis, hip and knee. 

Training

Mr Gee graduated from King’s College London with a degree in Medicine in 2000, following the completion of a BSc in Pharmacology in 1997. After completing his basic surgical rotation at King’s, he progressed to the South East Thames Orthopaedic Rotation, where he completed his advanced surgical training.

In 2011, Mr Gee became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). He further honed his skills at Flinders Medical Centre and the Repatriation Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia where he spent 12 months gaining his Fellowship in Trauma and lower limb arthroplasty. Additionally, Mr Gee spent six months at The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, where he received his Fellowship in Pelvic Trauma and Lower Limb Arthroplasty. In 2013, he also completed an MSc in Orthopaedics at Brighton University.

Practice

Mr Gee was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at King’s College Hospital in April 2014, a renowned teaching institution and Major Trauma Centre. This appointment marked a significant career achievement for him. 

He has held positions of responsibility over the last 10 years including serving as the clinical lead for providing Orthopaedic services to Bexley CCG and the arthroplasty lead for the trust. With over 20 years of experience in orthopaedics and 11 years as a consultant, Mr Gee offers expertise in the following areas; 
  • Primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery
  • Knee arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction
  • Pelvic and acetabular trauma surgery

He has a particular interest in robotic and robot-assisted hip and knee replacement techniques.

Personal Life

Born and raised in Cornwall, Mr Gee now lives in South East London with his wife and two daughters, both of whom are in secondary school. He enjoys staying active and watching live sports, especially rugby. He also enjoys playing golf as a member of The Addington Golf Club.
