Personal Profile
Having graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1999, my basic and higher surgical training was undertaken in Edinburgh. During my training I completed a Diploma in Sports and Exercise medicine through the University of Bath, and was selected for a travelling fellowship in the USA in 2012, visiting centres in Boston, Chicago, and Tennessee. After completing my training in 2013 I undertook a fellowship in Sydney, concentrating on hip and knee reconstruction, and sports injuries.
I have been working in Aberdeen as a consultant in the NHS since my return from Australia in 2014. I also maintain an active interest in both research and training, and have presented nationally and internationally.
