Mark Davies Personal Profile

Mr Davies is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Westmorland General Hospital, The Lancaster Hospital and The Beaumont Hospital, Bolton. His specialist interest is general gynaecology, and particularly urogynaecology.
  
He graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester in 1995 and then pursued his degree in Medicine from the University of Dundee, graduating in 2002. After this he undertook his basic surgical training in the North West of England, becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2006. He then commenced his Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in 2007, becoming a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2011 and was awarded the certificate of completion of specialist training in 2014.

Mr Davies was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Royal Lancaster in December 2014.

As well as maintaining a full clinical portfolio, Mr Davies has also held the roles of Clinical Lead and Clinical Director for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust.

Mr Davies believes in working in partnership with his patients and their families to find the best possible solutions to their concerns.
