Mr Matthews has worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon for Bucks healthcare NHS Trust between 1993 and 2014. He remains in practice at the Chiltern and Shelburne Hospitals.

Mr Matthews provides an expert opinion for patients troubled by sports injuries and knee and hip conditions. He has over 20 years of Consultant experience and has access to the latest in surgical techniques and equipment including MRI, CT and ultrasound scans. He specialises in arthroscopic and minimally invasive knee surgery which promotes rapid recovery and also in lower limb joint replacement.

He is happy to see both private patients and NHS patients referred through "choose and book" pathways.
